ESCAPE TO DAKHLA

SUGGESTED PLAN
Day 1
WHITE DUNES 4X4
Touchdown in Daklah by plane and we'll then head straight out to Dakhla’s White Dune in a 4x4. It is surrounded by the ocean at high tide, flamingos often at sight. You’ll get an amazing impression of the area’s stunning colours and views. We will then head back along the peninsula to reach a local Oyster Farm. A long-established cooperative, it has become one of the best fish restaurants of the region. After a great late lunch, enjoy an afternoon chilling out at one of the cool resorts of the bay. We’ll be back to Dakhla and get you checked into your boutique hotel before dinner.
Day 2
KITESURF UP!
The Dakhla peninsula is world-renowned for kitesurfing. It boosts perfect conditions for everyone from absolute beginner to more advanced kitesurfers. The year-round near perfect temperature and flat waters with great windflow make this possible. Spend the day kitesurfing. You are welcome to head out on your own, or we can set you up with a great teacher to get you going in no time.
Day 3
YOGA & SPA DAY
Enjoy a fantastic long morning Yoga session on the beach with a fun local group. Then take a leisurely day to enjoy the beach. You are welcome to head back out to do more kitesurfing, or enjoy any other of the many great water sports offered in the area from SUP, windsurfing to Wakeboarding.
Day 4
DAKHLA CULTURE
Today we start discovering Dakhla visiting the main market, with the catch of the day just brought in by fishermen and the fragrance of bread filling the air. We will then move to the local Museum of Saharan Culture, rich in artifacts covering the various aspects of nomadic life. Late lunch will be at one of the nice sea-front restaurants of the Dakhla peninsula, followed by a visit to the ostrich farm before ending the afternoon chilling out at one of the cool resorts of the bay. We’ll be back to Dakhla before dinner.
