CHARM TOUR
This extended 3-day tour whisks you off to the northern coastline of Catalunya, known as La Costa Brava, which boasts some of the most breathtaking landscapes around. Here you’ll dig deep into the Mediterranean lifestyle, visiting charming villages along the coast, sightseeing by boat, and of course indulging in the best of the local Mediterranean cuisine. Not only will food lovers be indulged, but wine lovers, too, with a day devoted to the region’s best wines.
SAMPLE ITINERARY
DAY 1
FISHING VILLAGES OF COSTA BRAVA
On the first day of our tour, we’ll be heading up the coast to explore some of the area’s traditional fishing villages. Here we’ll learn about the history behind these unique communities as well as some of the region’s most prized seafood like the anchovies from L’Escala and the delicious red shrimp from Palamos. Tonight you’ll stay in an intimate luxury hotel overlooking the water.
DAY 2
EXPLORING THE COVES OF COSTA BRAVA
Today we’ll be exploring the beautiful coastline by boat. We’ll travel from Calella, visiting a number of small coves only accessible by boat, getting to know the breathtaking northern coastline. You’ll be treated to a paella cooked right on board accompanied by a fresh glass of white wine.
DAY 3
WINES OF THE EMPORDA TOUR
On our last day together, you’ll have the chance to get to know the excellent wines of L’Emporda, some of the best in Catalunya. We’ll visit a local winery, where you’ll get a full tour and a tasting of their wines, learning all about what sets this unique maritime region apart.
